Mt Hutt, high above the Canterbury Plains and in the heart of the Southern Alps, is all about a great snow experience! The snow is light and reliable throughout the long season and it's on the mountain longer than any other ski area in Australasia. Mt Hutt's season runs from early June to the end of October. . . with the Spring skiing being some of the best around!
Whether you are an absolute beginner or an advanced powder hound, if you are into skiing or boarding then Mt Hutt is the place to do it. The awesome off trail opportunities and the immense runs off the Triple Chair make Mt Hutt a favourite with boarders. The wide, open trails provide easy learning for novice skiers and excellent terrain to build on your existing skills.
